We feel that confidentiality is of utmost importance. All information is kept confidential, except where required by law to report, such as cases of sexual abuse, homicide or potential suicide. The Pregnancy Crisis Center is, first and foremost, an outreach of love and concern. Our goal is to provide you with the assistance and support needed during a planned or unplanned pregnancy or post-abortion trauma. We are staffed by volunteers who have received training in crisis counseling. They may not have degrees in counseling or be licensed by the state. However, they have a deep commitment to each individual and their specific needs because they care. The counseling is not a substitute for professional counseling. In addition to counseling, we offer many services free of charge, including pregnancy tests, referrals, and information on pregnancy, parenting, abortion and adoption. Our purpose is to provide you with information on each option that will clearly help you make a well informed decision. |
